1. To form a nucleus of the Universal Brotherhood of Humanity, without distinction of race, creed, sex, caste, gender, nationality or colour.
2 To encourage the study of comparative religion, philosophy, and science. 3. To investigate the unexplained laws of nature and the powers latent in man.
The Theosophical Society was formed in 1875 by H. P. Blavatsky and others to make available to the world and to promote an understanding of Ancient Esoteric Teachings. It is now active in over 50 countries.
This Ancient, or as it is sometimes called, ‘Ageless Wisdom’, which had previously only been available to initiates and in Secret Orders, has found expression down the ages in philosophies, sciences, mysticism, religions and the arts.
The Society is composed of students belonging to any belief system or to none, who have an aspiration for truth. Central to the Concerns of theosophy is the desire to promote understanding and brotherhood among people of all races, creeds and philosophies. Devotion to truth, love for all living beings and commitment to a life of altruism marks the true Theosophist.

'AKASHA AND THE ASTRAL LIGHT' "Akasha refers to the esoteric teaching that all 3-dimensional space throughout the physical Universe is interpenetrated by Spirit. This idea is developed to show that this is also true for the six subjective realms and the occult space which is associated with them. The first realm is the Astral and the Astral Light associated with it is of particular interest. The study leads us deep into the fundamental teachings of Theosophy."
